            He retained his glare, cold and violent with his usual apathy, finding no humour in the man’s joke (but then again, his sense of humour differed quite a lot compared to most other people ; a trait noticed by anyone who spent more than three minutes around the swimmer). Despite not being a superstitious individual, Haru never knew when a stranger, teetering on the edge of madness, would actually use magic against him. Wariness was rarely a bad thing, wasn’t it?

           with his smile still on and almost no change within his first greeting visage, henry shrugged slightly after the terms left his lips. a disappointment upon the rejection, but if the other desired it not, he’d keep the hex to himself. though, when the question asked reached his ears, he gave a momentary thought of his talent before returning an answer.
